2014 Newcastle Chamber Board, New Executive Officers for 2014
The Newcastle Chamber of Commerce has elected new Executive Board officers for 2013 – 2014 announced Peter Zevenbergen, Immediate Past President of the Newcastle Chamber. Paul Reynolds, Regency Newcastle and Sara Biancofiori, Coal Creek Family YMCA will serve as President and Vice President, respectively.
Paul Reynolds has served as a Newcastle Chamber Board Member since 2013. “We were thoughtful in our selection process for board members to take the place of those Executive board members who have served their term, said Peter Zevenbergen. “We had the opportunity to watch Paul in this community the past year. Demonstrated professionalism in his job as well as real contribution of time to the Newcastle community, made Paul an ideal candidate to move to our Executive Board,” said Zevenbergen.
Reynolds has been with Regency Pacific for three years and Regency Newcastle Regency Newcastle as the Sales and Marketing Director for a year. Reynolds was nominated and selected as the Newcastle Chamber Diamond Award Winner in the Business Category for 2013. “I’m excited to be a part of the Chamber of Commerce Board so that I can have a positive impact on other local businesses and share with them the benefits that our business has experienced through our involvement with the Chamber,” said Reynolds.
Coal Creek Family YMCA’s Associate Executive Director Sara Biancofiori was named Vice President on the Executive Board. “Sara Biancofiori joined our Newcastle Chamber Board last year and we are so pleased she has agreed to serve as the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce Executive Board Vice President,” said Zevenbergen. “Sara’s leadership and natural communication skills will add to the strength of our board leadership,” said Zevenbergen. It is expected that Biancofiori will move to the position of President for the 2014- 2015 term.
Biancofiori has been with the YMCA of Greater Seattle almost eight years and served as Senior Regional Program Director until 2013 when she became the Associate Executive Director at the Coal Creek Family YMCA. “I am happy to move to the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce Executive Board. I see it as a way to expand my horizons, and create a positive way for me to network with our business community. The chamber strives to help make a positive change in our community, something the Coal Creek YMCA values as well,” said Biancofiori.

Imelda Dulcich continues in her role as Newcastle Chamber Executive Director, a part-time consultant position. Dulcich serves as the Chief Administrator and Executive Officer, responsible for implementing the policies of the Board of Directors and administering the approved budget. Acting as the Chamber spokesperson, Dulcich is also responsible for creating opportunities for networking, breakfast events, marketing in the community, after hour’s events, education, more opportunities for Chamber businesses to market their companies. Dulcich is owner of Imelda Dulcich PR and Social Media, LLC.
