Join Us! Wednesday, April 11, 2018 for a Chamber Luncheon at Tapatio Mexican Grill for a presentation by Student Sustainability Ambassadors.
Their presentation: “Positive Trends Update” features a review of their collective impact projects and data-driven strategies to improve sustainable community conditions.
The mission of Sustainability Ambassadors is to “Empower Youth to Catalyze Community Sustainability.”
Once each year, well-informed, student Sustainability Ambassadors present the Positive Trends Update featuring a review of their collective impact projects and data-driven strategies to improve sustainable community conditions. Representing seven King County School Districts, student Sustainability Ambassadors are polished public speakers, offering an inspiring, slide-based program on what’s working, who’s leading, and how the systemic trends they are measuring across generations and community sectors point to a sustainable future.
Sustainability Ambassadors support the collaborative actions of multiple stakeholders while engaging youth at the cusp of adulthood in the leadership decisions that affect their future. They pursue their purpose through four integrated strategies; the arms, legs, muscle and sinew that give full range of motion to our role as a backbone organization driving improvements in sustainable community conditions in the Puget Sound region.
Ambassadors are responsible for . . .

- developing work plans to build school and community capacity to drive measuarble change
- reporting positive trends to local decision makers
