B & E Meats & Seafood Ribbon Cutting, Grand Opening Weekend Event
The Newcastle Chamber of Commerce welcomes new business to the community as B & E Meats & Seafood celebrates the opening of their 4,000 square foot Newcastle location with a ribbon cutting on Friday, October 4 at 12:00 p.m. Newcastle Mayor Rich Crispo and other local dignitaries will be on hand to formally welcome the market to the city. The ribbon cutting will kick-off a weekend-long celebration grand opening for the eastside community. B & E Meats & Seafood is located in Newcastle at 13020 Newcastle Way, Newcastle, Washington.
The business will open in the space formerly occupied by Newcastle City Hall, “Newcastle residents have anticipated this opening ever since they heard B & E Meats & Seafood were coming to our city,” said Rob Wyman, Newcastle City Manager. “The reputation of the 50-year old family business proceeded itself. We know how fortunate we are to have B & E join our community.”
The weekend-long grand opening celebration will begin after the October 4, 12:00 p.m. ribbon cutting, and continue Friday, Saturday and Sunday with festivities including an outdoor barbeque.
Jeff Green, B & E Meats & Seafood owner says the B & E Meats & Seafood staff is ready to celebrate with the eastside community. “We will be barbecuing our famous Kalbi Marinated Beef, our Teriyaki Beef Tri-tip, and much more all weekend long.”
Green said B & E Meats selected Newcastle as the location for the family’s newest market after careful consideration. “We looked all over the Northwest and we fell in love with Newcastle because it is so much about family and community. We found it a place where people are interested in raising their kids and where community has always been a formula for a success.”
