Thinking about a remodel?

Steve Kunkel, president of Steve Kunkel Master Builders, Inc. will tell you what questions you should ask before hiring a contractor.  Come to a thought-provoking learning session on August 15 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. at  5466 119th Ave SE, Bellevue, WA 98006. The session is free, the community is invited, and light refreshments will be served. “Top Questions to Ask Before Choosing Your Contractor”

Kunkel is a Seattle native with a feel for northwest living.  He has been building custom homes and remodeling in the Puget Sound area since 1976.

“Selecting the right contractor, no matter what size project you have, will ensure that the job is done well, on time and within budget,” said Kunkel.

The session will include the reasons you need to ask questions such as:

  • What is your background and how experienced are you in remodeling?
  • What kind of guarantee do you offer for your work and is it in writing?

Kunkel is a graduate of Garfield High School in Seattle and the University of Washington, School of Mechanical Engineering. He has completed courses and seminars in real estate, color theory, interior decorating and design, energy conservation and remodeling management.  He has continued to keep abreast of new trends in kitchen and home design, building materials and new energy saving technology.  He is a member of the National Association of Home Builders and has completed course work to become a Certified Graduate Remodeler.
