February 10th Virtual Chamber Luncheon

Andy Sharpe has worked for the YMCA movement for almost 20 years. Starting as a Youth and Family Director in Burlington, North Carolina, Andy has supported after school programs, youth sports, family activities, summer day camp, membership and many more “hats”. In 2014, Andy took the opportunity to join the YMCA of Greater Seattle and has worked for several branches in King County. At the Northshore YMCA in Bothell, Andy was the Associate Executive Director for 3 years before transitioning over to the University Family YMCA where he served as Branch Executive for two years. At the end of 2019, Andy moved to the Coal Creek Family YMCA In Newcastle, WA just in time to guide the community, members and staff through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Andy has a passion for staff development and innovation solutions that put members first. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, playing golf, and watching his beloved Tar Heels play college basketball. He looks forward to deepening relationships with community leaders, partner organizations, and other non-profits in service area.
